Dear Audax Australia Members,

We’re writing to share several important updates, including changes to fees, revisions to our policies, and an opportunity to get involved.

Fee Update – Effective 1 May 2026

This marks the first increase to Audax Australia ride fees since 2013. These changes will help ensure we can continue to support our rides, volunteers, and the broader randonneuring community.

From 1 May 2026, the following minimum fees will apply:

• Event Ride Fee: $10.00
• Permanent Ride Fee: $8.00
• 1-month Membership Fee: $20.00

Please note that any registrations made before 1 May for rides taking place on or after 1 May will be honoured at the current rates.

Policy Updates

We have also made some updates to our governance framework:

• Clause 17 of the Audax Australia Regulations (serving of alcohol) has been added
• The previous Grievance Procedure has been replaced with a new Complaints Policy

Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently seeking two roles to support our community. This is a great way to contribute to Audax Australia at a national level.

Membership Secretary

Key responsibilities include:

• Sending welcome emails to new members (approximately 1 hour per month)
• Assisting members with enquiries
• Supporting the national committee by strengthening member advocacy and improving services from a member perspective
